Boat and Material

Fishing Amsterdam Guiding Service chooses a 16 foot long and 7 foot wide Monark Scorpion to ensure you enjoy your fishing trip as much as possible. This boat is powered by a 50 HP Yamaha four stroke engine and brings up to three fishermen quick and comfortable to the best fishing spots. Furthermore, the boat is utilized by a front and back Minn Kota engine to help you putting your bait in the right spot and... catching more and bigger fish.

Fishing Amsterdam uses the Monark Scorpion 1601 SC, made in the USA.

FISHING EQUIPMENT

There is no need to bring your own fishing gear (but if you want to, that's no problem of course). We use only rod & reels from the toprange of Spro Sports Professionals. The rods are lightweight, but have more than enough power to secure even the biggest zander and pike. 

For vertical jigging we provide the Henk Simonsz Godfather Parabolic rods and the Black Arc spinning reel, spooled with first class braided line.

For casting and trolling there's the Henk Simonsz Signature Troller, a slighly longer rod with a smooth and progressive action. These rods are rigged up with the top of the range Red Arc casting reels.
